Little girl works with her grandmother to give dolls to hospitalized children.
"I've done something to help the world," said 8-year-old Kailey Ray.
She can't even see over the mountain of American Girl dolls she's donating to patients at Children's Hospital.
"I love my American Girl dolls, so I thought they would love their as much as I love mine," Kailey said.
She donated 30 dolls, which cost about $100 each, with money she raised by knitting hats for girls and their dolls.
"She usually knits the doll size and we knit the girl size," said her grandmother Debbie Kayse.
The set sells for $10, and 10 sets buy a doll.
"It makes her feel good to know that she's helping others and to know that when these little girls are going for tests or surgery that they can take their doll with them for comfort," Kayse said.
She also donated 14 last Christmas, which puts her almost halfway toward her goal of donating 100 dolls.
