RIO HONDO, TEXAS - A ninth grade Rio Hondo High School student has been removed from the school after school officials say they found a threatening note written by the student.
The school super independent says the note stated he was threatening to do harm to himself and others. It was found Wednesday during school on the floor in a classroom. School officials also say another student posted on Facebook the student threatened to bring a gun to school but officials could not confirm that threat.
"that was posted by another student on facebook and it was called to the principals attention and that was the initial trigger and we immediately pulled the student off the classroom and started the investigation, he is out today Monday he starts at the DAE."
