Official cause of infant's passing still pending.
A baby boy's death has left a Fort Myers, Florida family devastated and a father outraged.
He is blaming the boy's death on the sling his son was in at the time.
Parents at The Crestwell School had their hands full preparing for the holiday ceremony.
A witness remembers seeing the three month old baby boy wiggle around in his mother's sling.
Minutes later, paramedics arrived.
Little Kellen Wohlegemuth was pronounced dead at the hospital.
While the medical examiner hasn't released how Kellen passed away, the father, wrote a poem about the incident stating "They lie, ‘wraps and slings are safe.' The profits are more important to them than our sons smiling face."
After three reported deaths associated with slings in 2009, The US Consumer Product Safety Commission sent out a warning to parents to be cautious when using slings for babies younger than four months old.
