MCALLEN - It's considered the busiest travel time of the year, we are talking about Thanksgiving. Many here in the valley are rushing to make last minute travel plans.
Samantha Magdaleno is a student at UTPA, she travels to Michigan for the major holidays and say's it can be stressful. "everyone is traveling at this time, you have to book early, and many flights sell out."
It's no secret that traveling during these days can be stressful and for airline attendants that stress level can be twice as much because of the holiday rushes.
Kristy Taylor-Salinas from McAllen International Airport advises travelers during the holiday to arrive an hour and half before their flights to avoid any complications.
Meantime, if you are considering traveling by car this Thanksgiving expect to pay less for gas. Fuel prices in the state have dropped an average of five cents per gallon.
