Dozens of rabbits up for adoption after being surrendered by admitted pet hoarder.
Florida's Lee County Domestic Animal Services' shelter needs help placing dozens of rabbits that were surrendered to them from a woman that was hoarding the animals.
More than 40 English Lop and Mini Lop rabbits were surrendered by their owner after she became overwhelmed.
"Our hoarding cases are primarily dogs and cats, but never rabbits," said Ria Brown, with Lee DAS.
They are presently being housed in shelter space allocated for the public to visit with dogs available for adoption.
