HIDALGO COUNTY — Cameron county election officials continue to finalize the total voting numbers from November sixth's election night from several different precincts. Unofficial results show there are three races, the B.I.S.D. Board Trustees, County Constable and a Santa Maria I.S.D. Board seat that were decided by a very small margin. Election Administrator Roger Ortiz commented, "I know there is jurisdictions in Cameron county that have experienced this, where a race is won by one vote, one vote can make a big difference in an election as we have see in this case."
