Woman falls onto tracks at Boston train station, the latest in a string of similar incidents.
A woman was rescued by bystanders after she fell onto the tracks at Boston's Andrew Station Tuesday.
The woman didn't hit the electrified third rail, but was taken to the hospital because she hurt her leg.
"I can see it happening honestly, especially if you're not paying attention, when you're moving around, if you don't see it you can fall off like that," one man said.
In recent months, there have been several missteps at Red Line stops.
In every incident, strangers pulled the victims back on the platform before the train rolled in. But the recent rash of terrifying falls has wondering if the MBTA should consider installing guardrails.
