Students Prepare for Mock Trial Competition

HIDALGO COUNTY — Almost 200 Region One students are preparing for an upcoming mock trail competition between teams from various school districts. On Tuesday those students learned, from local attorneys, about what it's like to present a case in court, etiquette, opening and closing statements and direct and cross examinations. The competition is dated for January 26th thru the 28th of 2013 at the Hidalgo County Court House.
