EDINBURG — On Halloween night NewsCenter 23 reporter Erin Murray took us out with Edinburg police as the checked up on registered sex offenders and now we have the results of those door to door visits. There were no major incidents or crimes throughout the city, but police say they did give out a total of twelve citations for ordinance violations. The new ordinance requires all registered sex offenders to have no candy sign posted, all porch lights turned off and that the offender be at home during trick or treating hours.
