BROWNSVILLE — Of all the cities in the United States, the City of Brownsville has taken the number one ranking for the lowest credit score in a study by Experian. The study, named State Credit 2012, shows several Texas cities that have bad credit with Brownsville taking the top spot and Harlingen, Corpus Christi and El Paso also making the list. A good score would be anything above 800, but the City of Brownsville and the other cities fell into the six and seven hundred range which is considered a low credit score.
