Mary Galvan from Brownsville said she received two texts in the same day from two different numbers.
She knew something was strange when it said BestBuy.net so she called Best Buy and they confirmed this is a scam.
We showed Aminda Martinez Galvan's text. She works at Best Buy. Martinez says Galvan is not the only one asking about this scam.
"We had had about 10-20 people come in to show us the text but if you look at website it's not an official website
Our website it bestbuy.com, This one is saying bestbuyprizes.net that is not an official website."
Martinez says this scammer is just trying to get your information.
"Every website that does this is after your personal information some people have put in their bank account, they are trying to do identity theft or steal your money, so don't do it."
Galvan giving this final advice to the public.
"If you get a text and sounds to good to be true it is."
