EDINBURG - It's their McIntyre street project. The city's in the process of revamping the entire stretch of street from the courthouse all the way to the university of Pan American.
It will be a pedestrian friendly walkway closed off to vehicles something you would see in larger cities like San Francisco or Austin.
The cost will be a little over 2 and a half million construction is already underway and should be complete in a year. You can check the city's website for road closure in the area.
