MEXICO - The Mexican Army says it has seized more than 40 tons of marijuana during a five day military operation.
The operation is targeting marijuana growers in the central Mexican state of Jalisco. Approximately 500 military personnel are involved in the operation. Some plants discovered yesterday has been hidden among agave plants in an effort to escape detection from the air. Mexico is one of the world's top drug producers. Exporting billions of dollars worth of marijuana heroin and meth each year.
