MISSION — It's the middle of the month for Hispanic Heritage month and border enforcement agencies gathered to celebrate the occasion. The event was held on Thursday morning at the Anzalduas port of entry in Mission with this year's theme being named "Diversity United, Building America's Future Today" which was the first time that Custom and Border Protection agency to be celebrated. This year, National Hispanic Heritage Month runs from September 15th through October 15th and border officials hope to make the event an annual tradition at the port of entry.
