St Joseph Acamdey's former high school basketball coach Josue Flores resigned and accepted a similar position at a middle school in Harlingen.
Coach Flores led the Bloodhounds to a district championship in 2007 (Brownsville Herald's Coach of the Year during that season). He also helped the team make the post-season in multiple years.
Flores will now be an Athletic Director at a middle school in the Harlingen ISD.
