MCALLEN — We visited the McAllen International Airport to see if there were any changes in security following a bomb threat. As a precaution, officials evacuated the gate terminal, along with an Allegiant flight that had boarded, after a call of a bomb threat. Passengers and luggage were re-screened and the airport was swept for suspicious objects by authorities. Security was increased on Tuesday, but things were back to normal on Wednesday and airport officials say they have received bomb threats in the past.
