Parents Concerend as Students Take Dangerous Route to School

Ricardo Olivas is a concerned parent.

“It's a big concern because once a child gets hit it is going to be a big deal for everybody,” says Olivas.

In the last two weeks Olivas says he has seen several students walking to and from Veterans Memorial high school along highway 281. Most of these students are walking mere feet from oncoming traffic traveling at excess speeds of 60-miles per hour.
