More than a dozen illegal immigrants were found inside a home in the City of Alton.
Police say they had set up surveillance outside the home for the past two weeks after getting calls from residents about suspicious activity. In total, fourteen illegals were found inside and none appeared to be malnourished or mistreated.
Sgt. Luna went on to say that thanks to a grant by the federal government they now have more boots on the street. All fourteen illegal immigrants were turned over to U.S. Border Patrol agents.
