Police Continue Investigation of Human Bones Case

EDINBURG — Police investigators returned to the scene where human bones were found in a drainage ditch to search for more clues in solving how the victim died. An excavator was digging near the ditch in search of more evidence or bones and Lt Oscar Trevino commented on the investigation saying, "At this point in time we still have not submitted the remains for analysis but we eventually will in the next couple of days and in hopes to extract some DNA to see if that will assist us."
