Summertime and the beach usually go hand in hand but not on Wednesday. Cameron County Judge Carlos H. Cascos has ordered the temporary closing of beach access No. 5 and No. 6 on South Padre Island because of high tides. Individuals in the area are asked to refrain from entering the water due to possible rip currents.
