HIDALGO COUNTY — The monkey that was reported seen around the City of Mission has been finally captured by Animal Control and taken to the Gladys Porter Zoo to be quarantined. Officers trapped the loose monkey using sweet bread as bait to capture the animal. Those involved in attempting to capture the animal say the monkey will likely be sent to a primate sanctuary and believe the animal was someone's pet that got loose.
