University Students Begin Voting for New School Mascot

BROWNSVILLE — Monday was the first day of the final round of voting by University of Texas at Brownsville for a new mascot. The chooses that the student body had in voting for the new mascot were an Ocelot, Jaguarundi, Bull Shark, Parrot and Vaqueros. Voting will end on Wednesday with the results being announced in the fall.
