MCALLEN — The suspect, wanted for robbing a Walmart, who shot a security guard and stabbed another person has been arrested by police.
Police have arrested 25 year-old Aaron Solorzano who was arrested in Nuevo Progreso, Mexico and then transferred to McAllen police. Solorzano was wanted for shoplifting items from a Walmart store on Jackson Avenue last Saturday and when the security guard attempted to detain him Solorzano shot the guard and then stabbed another person assisting the guard. Both victims are expected to recover and Solorzano has been charged with two first degree felonies and a bond of $500,000 dollars.
