HAVANA - This year for the first time since the 1959 Revolution. The govenment released a statement today saying the decision was made in light of Pope Benedict's Recent Visit. The pointiff urged the government to make good friday a holiday. It's unclear whether the decision will be permanent. Religous holidays were banned in Cuba after Fidel and Raul Castro forced in Maxist Governemnt practices. Christians commemorate the death of Jesus Christon good friday, which falls on April 6th.
