EDINBURG — South Texas Health System hosted a special training involving proper installation of car seats which could save your child's life.
The National Child Passenger Safety Certification Program continued at Edinburg Regional Medical Center on Friday as representatives were on site to inform residents of the proper way to install car seats. Data indicates that 99% of parents misuse child safety seats and that is why more than twenty technician candidates were on hand to show parents how to install the seats correctly. Hospital staff, social workers and state troopers were on hand to take the three and half day course training.
