A 2 year-old is rushed to the emergency room with a fractured leg and police are blaming his caregiver.
The toddler was taken to Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen this week and police responded after getting a call from the hospital. Vito Ibarra, the boys caregiver, took him to the emergency room claiming he had stepped on the child's leg. Officers were advised by the doctors that the injury was inconsistent with what Ibarra claimed. He was arrested and charged with injury to a child and his bond is set at $25,000 dollars.
