Customs and Border Protection officers at the Hidalgo/Reynosa bridge busted three men trying to smuggle more than $6 million dollars in cocaine.
On Friday, officers stopped a Mexican commercial bus for a secondary inspection where a K-9 team sniffed out the cocaine from the bus's front interior area. Officers found nearly 207 pounds of cocaine and arrested three Mexican citizens who were alternately driving the bus. All three drivers are in custody and facing federal drug charges.
