BROWNSVILLE - The first of three trials is underway for Jacob Valentine Vasquez who is accused of inappropriately touching three young girls last year inside of the Walmart located on Alton Gloor.
On Tuesday, one of the three alleged victims, a 10 year-old from Mexico, gave her account of the assault. The state is trying to prove that the defendant groped the young girl while she was looking at clothes after being approached by Vasquez. Two additional trials, set for a later date, will also be held for the cases of the other two alleged victims.
