McALLEN - Funeral plans for SPC. Kurt Kern are underway as the family will release details on Thursday.
City of McAllen officials met with the family on Wednesday to talk about arrangements for SPC Kern's funeral. The only information confirmed on Wednesday was that SPC. Kern would be buried at the State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
