McALLEN - Some good news for more than a hundred U.S. Postal Service employees as the McAllen mail processing facility which had been scheduled for closure.
Those processing services are still slated to be consolidated in a facility in Corpus Christi, but that move has now been delayed until at least next May. U.S. Congressman Ruben Hinojosa says he's been in close contact with the Postmaster General and is still optimistic that the mail processing jobs can be saved long term.
