Former Penn State coach waives preliminary hearing in child sex abuse trial.
Jerry Sandusky waived his preliminary hearing this morning on multiple charges of child sexual abuse.
The move came as a surprise and puts the former Penn State assistant football coach on a faster path to a trial.
Sandusky would likely have faced some of his accusers at today's hearing.
Sandusky had denied all the child abuse allegations and told reporters he waived the hearing so he could present his side at trial.
