Customs and Border Protection officers at the Brownsville/Matamoros International bridge siezed around $150,000 dollars in marijuana.
On Wedenesday, officers say a 48 year-old Mexican citizen and resident of Matamoros was driving a van and sent to a secondary inspection. That's where a narcotics dog sniffed out the drugs. Officials say 58 packages stuffed with marijuana, weighing almost 150 pounds, were hidden within the underlying of the van roof.
No immediate arrest were made and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents continue to investigate the incident.
