Continental Airlines is temporarily reducing its service to Mexico in response to the H1N1 virus.
Starting Monday the airline will cut the number of departures into Mexico by 40 percent and officials plan to use smaller planes cutting capacity by 50 percent. The airlines has already experienced a drop in passengers due to the recession.
Now due to the amount of flu deaths in Mexico, the demand has lowered. Continental Airlines averages 450 flights a week to 29 destinations in Mexico.
