McALLEN - The South Texas Behavioral Health Center gave out free memory tests on Tuesday as part of National Memory Screening Day.
It's an initiative supported by the Alzheimer's Foundation of America and more than fifty people, with concerns about their memory, came out to get checked. Anyone could've been tested, but hospital officials say they really recommend anyone over the age of 55 to get screened. The results of the test were given immediately and if the person scored low they were recommended to follow up with their family physician.
