The U.S. Border Patrol opened a new command station with the latest technology.
On Wednesday, a grand opening ceremony was held for the new Border Patrol station on FM511. It will house 250 agents and has the latest computer and camera technology. The new station is an upgrade from the old one on Central Boulevard in Brownsville. With the bigger space and advanced technology, agents will be able to patrol areas from Veterans bridge to the San Pedro community.
