BROWNSVILLE - The University of Texas at Brownsville will soon be powered with the help of more than 600 solar panels.
The recently installed panels will provide the university with solar energy in an effort to create a more environmentally friendly campus. A $1.5 million dollar grant from the State Energy Conservation Office is being used to help pay for the solar panels.
