MCALLEN - After seeing your reaction to the controversial license plate up for approval with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles we decided to look and see who would be voting on the issue.
The plate was submitted by the Sons of Confederate Veterans.
The board voting on this license plate is made of nine volunteer members from across the state.
and representing the view of law enforcement is McAllen Police Chief Victor Rodriguez.
The original vote was taken in April, but it ended in a spilt vote.
