BROWNSVILLE - A suspect in on the loose after a high speed chase with police on Tuesday afternoon.
Cameron County Sheriff Omar Lucio reported that his deputies, along with several other law enforcement agencies, were involved in a chase that started on Palm Boulevard and ended near Mexico Boulevard near the old Amigoland Mall. It all started when a deputy tried to pull over the driver of the vehicle for a traffic violation, but the driver refused to stop and the pursuit began. Several bundles of marijuana were found inside the vehicle and police continue to search for the driver.
