SAN JUAN - IDEA College Prep held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday in celebration of opening a new school.
The school's principal says the move from a building, that was built mainly for elementary students, to a school that better handles the higher demands of high schoolers was much needed. With 40 new classrooms, three soccer fields, a new gym and a library, students and staff can finally grow at a better pace. IDEA Principal Sam Goessing stated,"They are excited to have a place where they can call home, they are excited to have a place that is new and they are excited to have a place that in their eyes looks like a real school."
