Virginia families forced from their homes by widening pit.
A massive sinkhole has forced several families out of their Stafford, Virginia homes.
The hole first formed on September 10th and now measures roughly 100 feet across and 30 feet deep.
Two homes near its edge have already been condemned.
Earlier sinkholes in the same area were filled and a retaining wall was built to contain them.
That wall has now been consumed by the new hole.
