In a NewsCenter 23 update, to a story you only saw here, Brownsville's Independent School District officials continue to investigate how students personal information ended up in a dumpster unshreded.
Last week we found personal information of at least 50 Hanna High School students in a dumpster near the B.I.S.D.'s central administration building. The documents found listed birth dates, addresses, phone numbers, and parents names.
B.I.S.D. spokesperson, Drue Brown says, they are planning to review all disposal procedures for confidential information with all campus and department personnel.
