The City of Edinburg is asking its residents to conserve water after experiencing low water levels from the drought.
The city is currently in state 2 water conservation which may affect fire response, local hospitals and everyday use of water. Residents with an address that ends in an odd number may water their lawn on odd number days of the month. Those with an address that ends in an even number may water on even numbered days of the month. Irrigation is only allowed after 6 PM and those who don't comply with the restrictions may face fines of up to $200 dollars.
