We have a NewsCenter 23 update on the story of a Harlingen man who found bones in his shed.
The bones ended up being pig and not human that Albert Cerda found inside his shed behind his home on West Pierce. Cerda believed they belonged to a human because he found clothes and hair around the skeletal remains. Test results received by police confirmed the bones are from a pig and investigators believe the previous owners of the home may have had a dog in the area and possibly fed it meat scraps from a pig. Harlingen police have now closed their case.
