Eight guests injured when bolt strikes Discovery Cove.
Eight people were treated and released from a hospital after an indirect lightning strike at SeaWorld's Discovery Cove in Orlando, Florida Tuesday evening.
Three guests and five employees complained of minor aches and pains, park officials said.
Orange County Fire Department crews were dispatched to Discovery Cove just after 5 p.m.
Dispatchers said they received a call reporting that several people were in need of medical attention due to a possible lightning strike.
None of the people involved appeared to have taken a direct strike, OCFD said.
