McAllen High is knighting up in quest for a dragon.
The Bulldogs are using a painfully close bi-district loss to Southwest as motivation to slay every opposition in 2009.
"The loss felt bad in our stomach -- it wont happen again this year
We want them again, and this time it'll be in our place and it will be different."
That's because Mc-Hi coach Tony Harris has a difference maker in his offensive huddle.
"Nick's middle name is work -- he works his tail off and do twice what you ask him to do."
While Nick Garza is being recruited to play college ball at places such as UTSA, Portland State and Texas State, the powerful wide out is more focused on sharing success with his Bulldogs..
"Nobody should even come close to us this year -- we got everyone backing each other up and that's what team is all about..."
Garza and the gang have a 10am scrimmage this Friday at Hanna -- their start to redemption from 2008.
