MERCEDES - Cattle ranchers in the Rio Grande Valley can not catch a break. Every year seems to bring a new stress and obstacle to over come. In the last few years, ranchers have battled flooding, drought and now cattle rustling.
Investigators say the issue is multifaceted, but the tight economy is definitely on of the main reasons this old fashion crime has made a come back.
