Good Samaritan rescues man who fell onto train track after suffering heat stroke.
A Good Samaritan is being credited with saving a man who passed out from heat stroke and fell onto the tracks at Dunwoody, Georgia's MARTA station Tuesday morning.
"All of a sudden, I felt a little dizzy and my legs got a little jiggly," Thomas Holihan said.
Disoriented and panic-stricken, Holihan said he struggled to climb back onto the platform with the train just minutes away.
"This Good Samaritan jumped down and after two or three attempts was able to hoist me up," Holihan said.
He said the man stayed just longer enough to ensure he was going to be okay and then left on the next train.
He said he wasn't able to get the man's name or even thank him properly.
"God, bless you. I owe my life to you," Holihan said. "I'd like to publicly thank you because it was an heroic effort."
