MCALLEN - Even with a tight economic budget, nurses and EMT's are in a shortage here in the Valley. Why?
The Baby Boomer generation is getting older, and hospitals and home health providers know someone will need to care for them.
News Center 23 reporter Erin Murray met with STC Nursing and EMT students to learn more.
If you want to become a nurse or EMT STC is having a special registration even on July 21st at their Nursing and Allied Health Campus. The event will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at 1101 E. Vermont in McAllen.
