TxDot to Target Truck Drivers Not Buckling Up

This week TxDot is targeting pick up truck drivers in hopes to get more of them to buckle up before they get behind the wheel.

TxDot says most people do a good job of buckling up, but truck drivers and their passengers could use some work. TxDot believes that 90% of drivers and 80% of passengers do wear their seatbelt. This might not seem low but statistics show, that one out of every two truck drivers is killed in traffic accidents, weren't wearing their seatbelt.
