City of Donna Holds Ribbon Ceremony for Industrial Park

A ribbon cutting event took place in Donna on Thursday for the start of construction on an industrial park.

The park will sit on more than 22 acres and will house eight lots total for businesses to open up shop. The Mexican mayor of Rio Bravo, Juan Anzaldua, was also on hand at the ceremony  and city officials hope that the park will create jobs and attract Mexican consumers to Donna.
